Brand Store Opening in Thailand

Dr. Hon is now in Thailand! Not Dahon’s CEO in fact, but our latest line of bikes debuting in Asia under the Dr. Hon brand. Our folding bikes already had an enthusiastic following in the country, just check out the Dahon Club for some great pictures and group rides. Now the successful brother and sister team of Arrtid and Kate Chotchuangnawa, and their company Nava Bike, have launched Dr. Hon bikes in style.

The Dr. Hon flagship store has opened in Bangkok following a special event attended by more than 300 folding bike fans. Among the many cyclists who rode from the shop to the Bangkhuntian district for lunch were Mr. Niphon Boonyapatharol, the previous consultant to the Governor of Bangkok, Mr. Sornchai Limawararat from the Thai Cycling for Health Association and police lieutenant Wichai Jitsatjapong, well known in the community for doing his patrols by bicycle. A lucky draw was held with participants winning Dr. Hon accessories including bicycle carry bags and backpacks. The grand prize was a brand new Vybe C7S folding bicycle. The Dr. Hon Experience Shop is the first folding bike shop in Thailand where customers can test ride Dr. Hon bikes, practice how to fold and unfold the bicycles and learn basic maintenance.
