Duarte, California, November, 2011 – Dahon, the world leader in folding bicycles, has announced an agreement with respected Dutch bicycle distributor Buzaglo BV to handle its European service function. One of Dahon’s longest tenured business partners, Buzaglo takes over from WM Trading, who operated the European Service Center for the past year.

The extension of Dahon’s partnership with the Dutch cycling giant serves as further evidence for the brand’s revitalized commitment to service and the European market. Operating out of a 4,000 m² facility near Amsterdam, Buzaglo, who employs a staff of 15, will be attending to the needs of all of Dahon’s European customers. Services will include the storage and delivery of Dahon spare parts and accessories, as well as support in such areas as bike repair, tuning and maintenance. Overall, the partnership with Buzaglo is expected to significantly improve Dahon’s service function, both in turnaround time and reliability.

“We are very happy to entrust a widely respected partner with a very important part of our business”, explained Eddie Eccleston, International Sales and Marketing Director for Dahon. “Costumers expect and deserve a high level of service from Dahon, and we are very excited to be in position to not only meet but exceed their expectations.”

Buzaglo will begin operation of Dahon’s European Service Center in XXXXX. In addition, Dahon’s new European production partner Maxcom will also have stock of the models produced in their state-of-the-art Bulgarian factory available for Dahon customers.
