Dahon Enhances Fold, Form and Function in 2014

Duarte, California, March 19, 2013 – Dahon, the world leader in folding bicycles, comes to Taipei with a fresh newdahon 2014 mu rohloff sport folding bicycle vantage point in product development, a bolstered line of top-tier products and several new additions to its corporate management team.

For 2014, Dahon focuses on enhancing its existing line of products with the latest in components, ergonomics, colors and graphics. Each model will be designed with unique consumers’ needs in mind, tailoring qualities such as folding technology, functionality, comfort, folded size, and color and graphics to the individual rider.

Upgraded Performance

Dahon has refined its collection of performance bikes including the new Mu Rohloff Sport, Vector P30, Mu EX and Mu SL to sport the fastest rolling compact 451mm wheels. Heading the upgraded line of performance folding bikes is the Mu Rohloff Sport. This model features Dahon’s top-of-the line equipment package and boasts a lightweight Dalloy frame with completely internal cable routing, a set of Magura MT6 hydraulic discs completed by a Rohloff Speedhub and is polished off with superior Ergon grips and Dahon’s own performance saddle and super-adjust stem.

The new Vector P30 combines speed and style. Decorated with a dynamic black and white color scheme, the new 30-speed Vector is built on a light and durable Hydroformed Dalloy Aluminum frame and features a Shimano 105 drivetrain that is enhanced by the innovative SRAM DualDrive internal hubgear.

Representing the newest generation of urban models with Dahon’s innovative vertical folding technology is the award-winning EEZZ. Dahon’s custom designed Hydroformed Dalloy frame features a concealed hinge that streamlines the bike’s structural design. Custom components, such as quick release pedals, super narrow wheels and a single speed drivetrain, coupled with a 39 tooth front chain ring and 9 tooth rear cogwheel, make the EEZZ the fastest 16” wheeled bike in the Dahon line.

To meet increased demand and to accommodate the company’s global expansion, Dahon has added a number of top industry professionals to its corporate staff. “Exceptional work is the result of a professional and dedicated team with extraordinary talent,” explains Dr. David Hon, CEO and Founder of Dahon. “We are extremely pleased with our recent additions who have assumed management roles across all of our operational divisions.”
